Designed by the International Organisation of Standardisation (ISO), 14001 provides a framework for environmental management, so that companies not only comply with increasingly stringent environmental laws and regulations, but also to implement a robust environmental management system that leads to improved efficiency, quantify, monitor and control the ongoing environmental impact of operations.
